This course explores ways to resolve disputes, other than through litigation. These alternative dispute resolution processes include arbitration and mediation. In addition, the course discusses different problem-solving approaches.
Attendance at the first class meeting is important, so if you cannot attend, please let Professor Chew know.
There are small group projects, an exam, and an arbitration or mediation project. The course grade is based on all of these assignments and class participation/contribution.
